Last week, What Car? held their 37th annual awards ceremony in London, sponsored by Warranty Direct.
The Nissan Qashqai walked away with the prestigious Car of the Year award for 2014.
This is the first time that Nissan has won this particular award; with the Sunderland-built Qashqai also taking home the best small SUV award.

The Qashqai was the sixth best-selling car in the UK in 2013, with sales passing the 50,000 mark.
